THE FORTUNE COOKIE is a movie written and directed by Billy Wilder in 1966. Jack Lemmon is a TV cameraman accidentally injured by a football player - Ron Rich - during a game. His brother-in-law, played by Walter Matthau, a crooked lawyer persuades him to feign a serious injury in order to fool the insurance company and obtain one million dollars. Lemmon's ex-wife - Judi West - smells the jackpot and wants to have a share of the profit.
