| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Rat Race |
A group of strangers are chosen by an eccentric millionaire to compete in a race for $2 million. Everyone is given an identical key to a locker. The first person to get from Las Vegas to New Mexico and unlock the locker wins the cash. All of the racers go their seperate ways and all of them end up getting into their own versions of trouble. After many trials and problems all of the racers arrive at the money at the same time to find that the money's been stolen by the millionaire's butler. Everyone gives chase. The bag of cash gets tied to a balloon and floats into a benefit concert. The racers end up donating the money to the needy children.
