Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Blow
This biopic tells the story of the rise and fall of American cocaine dealer George Jung. He starts off dealing pot and smuggling it. He gets caught and serves some time in prison. After he is released he starts dealing cocaine. He becomes very rich and has a wife and kid. Things start getting out of hand involving betrayal, his addiction, and his family as slowly and surely his empire begins to fall.

BLOW is a movie directed by Ted Demme in 2001.

This is the story of George Jung who came from Boston to California in the sixties. After having known poverty at home, he sweared to himself that he will never have the same life his parents had. He will spend a lot of time in prison but, in between, he will be known as the american who opened the american market to colombian cocaine thanks to his contacts with the drug lord Pablo Escobar. He will be betrayed by his friends and his business partners, will lose the respect of his family and finish his career in a federal penitentiary.
