Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Sullivan's Travels
SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS is a movie written and directed by Preston Sturges in 1942. Joel McCrea, a director of musicals and comedy, wants to present a serious movie about poverty and the social crisis in America. He will walk the country, dressed as a homeless, and learn about life, the others and himself. Veronica Lake, an aspirant actress, will join him in his quest.

One of the best comedies ever filmed.
