BLITHE SPIRIT is a movie directed by David Lean in 1945. The screenplay is adapted from a play by Noel Coward. Oscar od the best special effects in 1947.

Rex Harrison, a british writer, has invited Madame Arcati, a medium played by an hilarious Margaret Rutherford, with the secret hope to get material for his new book. During the evening, Elvira, the first wife of Rex Harrison, materializes and decides to haunt the house of her former husband.
