| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Critical Care |
CRITICAL CARE is a movie directed by Sidney Lumet in 1997. James Spader is a young doctor working in the intensive care unit of an eastern hospital. He gets sexually involved with one of the daughters of a comatose patient. Soon she is blackmailing the poor James Spader in order to make him cease artificially prolounging her father's life. Is it because she cares about her father or because she wants to have a full share of his multimillion dollar fortune. A good black comedy.
