| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Too Late the Hero |
TOO LATE THE HERO is a movie produced, co-written and directed by Robert Aldrich in 1970.
The Pacific Islands in 1942. Cliff Robertson, who until now hasn't taken part in any combat, is sent on an island in order to help a british platoon. With Michael Caine and a few "voluntaries", he has to go behind enemy lines to destroy a japanese radio installation. Once the mission fulfilled, they must return to their base through the jungle with the japanese army hunting them.
Pessimistic and filled with non-stop action.
