Review Summary and Plot Commentary about BASEketball
It starts off as two kids at a baseball game. Then they grow up wanting to be a big sports star. They invent a game in there drive way. It is a cross between baseball and basketball and that is how they got the name baseketball. It starts of as the two main charaters playing the game ( Joe Cooper and Doug Reemer), then the whole neighbour hood starts to play. The next thing they know it is an world wide sport. During the movie Cooper and Reemer have a fight. At the end of the movie Cooper and Reemer make up, get the girls and win the National baseketball leauge. A good end to a good movie.
--Marc Hussey, Resident Scholar

Lazy bums Joe "Coup" Cooper (Parker) and Doug Reemer (Stone) invent an odd game which is a surprising hit: a cross between baseball and basketball. If you're defense, you have to psych out the opposing player who's shooting. An eccentric billionare (Borgnine) offers Coup, Reemer, and third member Kenny "Squeak" Scolari (Bacher) a chance to make BASEketball a national pastime. When he kicks the bucket, he leaves the now prosperous team to Coup. A rival team owner (Vaughn), upset that changing cities and reckless endorsment is against the BASEketball bi-laws, tries to sabotage Coup, the only owner in his way. Coup has also fallen for Jenna (Bleeth), a woman who works with sick and dying kids. Coup must find a way to keep Jenna's organization and keep fame from getting to Remer's head.
