| Review Summary and Plot Commentary about Kiss Me Deadly |
Based on a Mickey Spillane novel, KISS ME DEADLY has been produced and directed by Robert Aldrich in 1955.
Mike Hammer, a L.A. private investigator, helps Christina Bailey to run away from the police that claims she is a lunatic. But, before he can let her go safe, they are caught by a bunch of tough guys who torture Christina to death and severely injure the detective. Soon, the local and federal polices stress Mike Hammer to say all he knows about the girl.
A masterpiece, violent and innovative.
