THE KILLING OF SISTER GEORGE is a movie produced and directed by Robert Aldrich in 1968. Based on a play of Frank Marcus.
Beryl Reid is a TV actress playing the role of Sister George in a successful BBC soap opera. She lives with her lover, Childie, a 32 years old young woman. Beryl's alcohol problem and jealousy soon push Childie into the arms of Coral Brown, an heartless TV producer.
